Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Twins

If you have been following my blog, a while back I wrote about how I need super powers because I was babysitting my friend's 8 month old baby. Trey was just 9 months old so basically it seemed like having twins. It turned out very very hard. What was I thinking!? I had even agreed on babysitting Xander for 7 weeks! Trey is so possessive and didn't want me holding Xander. Trey is loud when he plays, especially when he is in his house (his territory) and Xander is scared of loud sounds. They cried at the same time and tried to outdo each other by crying louder than the other. We didn't survive. I ended up only doing it for 7 days. I can't even imagine how families who have twins or multiples even made it through. Maybe it would have been easier if both babies were my own?

  1. As a Mom of twins, I'll say you just make do. You go with it - you learn. Which I'm sure you have...
    You'll be just fine!!

  10. Hard work but cute faces! love them both in the white basket.......not sure whether it would be different if they were your own. My friend is babysitting in a family where they just add triplets and it is as tough as you can imagine.
    Take care!

  12. Another mom of twins here. : )
I think it is easier probably when you have them together from birth, then you get used to it and figure out "tricks" and such while they are still little and cant get around or at each other very easy. : ) lol

  18. Two babies at once can be really rough! If they were your own you would feel a little different and giving up would not be an option. It was fun hearing that you love riding motorbikes!
Loved the pictures in this post!

  24. I've often wondered how parents of multiples are able to deal with different personalities too! The boys look somewhat happy in some of the photos though. :)
