Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Little Vampire

Last year was Trey's first Halloween. He was just 5 months old. He was the little vampire without fangs.

You noticed Trey was no longer wearing his costume. As soon as we got to the party he took his costume off. Lol

What are you going to be this Halloween?

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Best Friends

A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, big or small, young or old. He doesn't care if you're not smart, not popular, not a good joke-teller, not the best athlete, nor the best-looking person. To your dog, you are the greatest, the smartest, the nicest human being who was ever born. You are his friend and protector.-Louis Sabin, All About Dogs As Pets

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Water, Water Everywhere

I just started learning how to shoot on manual mode and raw file. It is actually fun. I noticed the difference immediately. But I still have so much to learn.

I still need to learn how to change my focal point. And how to remember to make sure the meter thingy( I forgot what it is called) is at 0.

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Brother

Today will be a lot more words than I planned. A lot has been going on and will be going on. I got approved to go back full time on my night job starting next month. I am trying to earn extra money before I go to school on January next year. The good news is I will finally have weekends off. I am so happy about that. The sad news is I have to put Trey in day care full time. I hope he will do fine. I am so worried about it. Yet I think it will also be good for him to be exposed and make new friends with other kids. I really like the daycare he will be in. On another note, I created another blog which is called aiSTYLEmee. I hope you come by and visit it and share some blog love.

Nate my 10 year old son is starting school tomorrow. I can't believe that this will be his last year in elementary. It seemed like just yesterday when I rode with him in his very first school bus ride on his first day of school in kindergarten. Yes, I did ride the school bus once with him in kindergarten because I was so worried that he wouldn't understand any English at all. And since I didn't know how to drive yet at that time, I had to wait until the end of the school day to ride back home with him. I helped out with the preschool class so I didn't get bored at all. The kids on the bus thought I was his sister because I was so tiny.

Nate is an awesome big brother. I just love him to pieces.

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Do the Zoo

Last Sunday our family went to our local zoo. It was Trey's first time to go to the zoo. He loved looking at all the animals.

How did he get that tiny arm inside the fence and grab the goat's ear? Lol.

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - The Little Man and The Little Lady

Last Saturday, we went to a picnic. It was time for Trey to socialize again with people his size and meet this pretty little lady.

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - The beach is heaven on earth

I haven't been to the real beach(the ocean) for almost 5 years. 2 weeks ago, I finally stepped foot on the ocean. It felt so like home.
Photobucket

Since my camera is all new to me, (my first ever DSLR yet) and I haven't taken the time to read the manual and look at the video instructions about my camera's settings,or google about it(hopefully I'll get to it very soon), I took a shot and it turned out overexposed. I accidentally had the settings to letter S for I think the shutter speed when I thought I wanted it for sports or action. The photo down below of Don holding Trey in the middle of the water is one of the photos I captured in the wrong setting. The other ones of Trey that was holding the real live fish in his hand was sadly too overexposed picniking couldn't help it. I used picnik to make it darker because it was too bright and still it is too bright. I framed it so I could see the edge of the photo. But I think it turned out okay. Now I already know the button for the sports or continuous shots hence the motion photos of last Friday.

My sister's husband caught a fish and showed it to Trey. Trey was at the moment not interested about the fish.

The little fish became a pet for a short time while we were on the beach. We let it go back to the ocean before we left.

Foto Friday - "Brown"

This is so late. I only have one hour and 31 minutes left to join Foto Friday for the first time over at La-La's Home Daycare. And it's not even Friday anymore. But they say better late than never.
My sister took these shots with my camera last week when we went on vacation and stayed at her home for 9 days. But she doesn't have a blog so I will just share it here. They took us to this beautiful place called Jekyll Island.
