Crazy Days of Summer Week 9: Bubbles
Bubbles are so much fun! But it is very challenging to take pictures of them.
Trey is so amazed at the bubbles.

I finally learned how to use and change the shutter speed and aperture of my camera. I used 1/400 and f4.2 for both photos above. I didn't edit the two photos above except for putting on my watermark. All these camera terms are so new to me.
The following photos below I took before even reading and studying how to take pictures of bubbles and changing the camera settings. I just used the auto setting. I used a lot of picniking to make it look better.
Overall, I like it when I don't have to edit the photo too much.

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - The beach is heaven on earth
I haven't been to the real beach(the ocean) for almost 5 years. 2 weeks ago, I finally stepped foot on the ocean. It felt so like home.
Since my camera is all new to me, (my first ever DSLR yet) and I haven't taken the time to read the manual and look at the video instructions about my camera's settings,or google about it(hopefully I'll get to it very soon), I took a shot and it turned out overexposed. I accidentally had the settings to letter S for I think the shutter speed when I thought I wanted it for sports or action. The photo down below of Don holding Trey in the middle of the water is one of the photos I captured in the wrong setting. The other ones of Trey that was holding the real live fish in his hand was sadly too overexposed picniking couldn't help it. I used picnik to make it darker because it was too bright and still it is too bright. I framed it so I could see the edge of the photo. But I think it turned out okay. Now I already know the button for the sports or continuous shots hence the motion photos of last Friday.
My sister's husband caught a fish and showed it to Trey. Trey was at the moment not interested about the fish.
The little fish became a pet for a short time while we were on the beach. We let it go back to the ocean before we left.

Foto Friday - "Brown"
This is so late. I only have one hour and 31 minutes left to join Foto Friday for the first time over at La-La's Home Daycare. And it's not even Friday anymore. But they say better late than never.
My sister took these shots with my camera last week when we went on vacation and stayed at her home for 9 days. But she doesn't have a blog so I will just share it here. They took us to this beautiful place called Jekyll Island.

Crazy Days of Summer Week 8: Motion
I just love to capture the action.
The following photos below are of my friends and me, playing a popular Filipino game called "Luksong Tinik" . It means " jumping over thorns" in English.

Wordless Wednesday with Linky- Sea World, Orlando
I was gone all week last week. My family and I went to Florida for the first time, ( it was the first time for me and the kids, and Trey's first time on an airplane). We spent 9 days with my sister and her family and my Mom( which was the most amazing thing)! It was the most awesome vacation! We went to Sea World to see Shamu make the biggest splash ever. The first 15 rows is the splash zone. You could get wet. Very wet. Soaking wet.

The dolphin show was amazing too.

It started raining in the late afternoon. They have to shut down all the rides. We could have gone again the next day because the 2nd day is free but we already have tickets to see Disney-Epcot the next day. One day is not enough to see everything inside these amazing theme parks.
