My 2nd Versatile Blogger Award

A big thank you to Mary at The Domesticated Mom for giving me this award. I am so honored to be picked and considered as a versatile blogger. Head on over to her amazing blog full of cool and exciting stuff where she shares her journey through life with family and her passion for natural living, crafts and cooking.

A Versatile Blogger is one who.........
1. Provides variety in his or her posts
2. Entertains, informs, inspires and intrigues readers
3. Continues to grow as a blogger

So the rules are simple in receiving this award.
1. Thank the Blogger who awarded you this great honor
and make sure others can get to his or her site!
2. List 7 to 10 secrets about yourself
3.
Award this to 10 - 15 worthy bloggers!

Here goes my 7 secrets:
1. My favorite part of the fish to eat is the head.
2. I don't know how to cart wheel. But I made it as a cheerleader in college.
3. When I was 11 years old I was the youngest living in a boarding house with all my grown up cousins. They often go to the club on Friday nights. One Friday night they had to take me along with them because nobody wanted to be left home with me. They dressed me up and put makeup on me and let me wear sky-high heels so I can pass as an 18 year old and get in with them. And I got in. Boy that was really fun and scary too!
4. Most people's first impression of me is a snob but I am actually shy at first.
5. In my parents house, we didn't have our first TV until I turned 15. We just went over to the neighbors after supper time and watched whatever they were watching.
7. I moved away from my parents at the age of 8 and lived with my cousins in a boarding house for almost 10 years. Because the school my parents wants me to go too is 2 hours from our hometown, which resulted into me not being so close to my Mom but we made up after I got married and gave birth to my 2nd child. Now me and my sister and my Mom are so close as ever.

I would like to give this award to the following amazing bloggers in no particular order:
1. Marie at To Make a Rhyme
2. DaenelT at Living Outside the Stacks
3. Tiffany at Raising Paityn
4. Mehreen at The Perfect Line
5. Katrina at They all Call Me MOm
6. Don at Life's Recollections
7. Kimberly at A day in My Life as a 3D Mommy
8. Tiffany at A Home Built on Love, Faith and Family
9. Carolyn at Cookin' For My Captain
10. Hilary at Feeling Beachie

Congratulations to all of you!

Congratulations on your award, Aimee!!

And thank you so much for giving me one!! I can't remember the last award I got, but I'm sure it wasn't nearly as cool. Now I need to create a nifty awards page... hmm...

Oh, you are so sweet to name my blog for the award! I'm truly honored! Thank you so much!!!!

I'm going to comment now on some of your 7 things:

I don't even like fish, so to hear that your favorite part to eat is the HEAD -- omgosh, that's something that I have never heard before! And it just slightly creeps me out -- but maybe that's just me, LOL.

I used to cartwheel all the time as a kid. Then about 3 years ago, we were at a park and one of my girls said, "Mom, do YOU know how to turn a cartwheel?" and I was feeling a bit peppy and full of energy, and so I did a quick cartwheel for them, to prove that I could. And I seriously couldn't walk for about a week after that. Well, I could walk, but not without limping just a bit. At 39 years old, I was way past my cartwheel days...but it's funny how no matter how old you are, you feel like you can still do these kinds of things.

When I was 15 my best friend's older sister dressed us up in high heels and make up, and made us hold a cigarette in our hands as we stood in line to some Hollywood club. We got in, and I remember I had so much fun dancing all night long. I kept getting hit on by older men that looked like they could have been my dad, which kinda grossed me out. But other than that, I had a good time. You have me beat, though....seriously, 11? Wow!

People think I'm a snob, too. I'm not, but because I can be quiet, that's what they think. What's up with that? All quiet people are not snobs!

Thank you so much Aimee - And Congratulations you definitely deserve it my dear!

Looks like I am a bit snob too at first sight (strange!) but it's just because I am pretty shy and need time to be fully me in front of strangers!

Fish heads? Really? OK, never would have guessed that.

LOL @ you going to a club

I'm shy too, funny how that gets mistaken for snobbery

Thank you for passing the award to me.
